I have a macbook pro with i7 and 4gb of ram....
I haven't played since just after lich king release so I don't know how well it will run now.... does anyone else have a similar system/knowledge of if its worth my re-buying it?|||No problem - runs great. Start with graphics set at about medium and go up from there. I will say that sunbeams cause a major hit on frame rate but minimal visual effect, so I turned it off.
Have fun!
drsbmac|||That sounds similar to my macbook pro that runs the game fine with medium graphics (and a few settings like view distance bumped up higher.)|||If you consider playing WoW on a Mac something that is acceptable by most gamers, no, most people would say playing WoW on a Mac isn't okay, it's just ridiculous.
If you're actually asking (Which you are) if your Mac would run WoW, yes, it would.|||Hehe, Well I used to play on a pc but I do a university course which recommended a mac (we don't really get along). I miss my games :'(|||Quote:

You know that you can install Windows on a Mac and have full access to your Window-only games, right? You'll have to actually buy a copy of Windows, but getting a dual boot setup going with Boot Camp is really easy.
And Mahulsage, anyone who says playing WoW on a mac is "ridiculous" is pretty ill informed. It's okay, though. I realize that the anti-mac sentiment is just jealousy of our sexy sexy computers.|||Quote:

we 'non fanbois' have developed and nurtured our prejudices over many years - it will take a lot more than 1 post to change that !! :-))|||I play mostly on my netbook, so you really shouldn't have any problems. I mean I'm sure your mac is a hell of a lot better then my netbook.
The only time I have to switch is when I was trying the worgen race since my graphic card isn't high enough. Even that laptop is like 4 years old, so yeah you should have no problems.
