Hunters can now use Auto Shot while moving.

= My favorite.

A lot of changes for many classes; for Hunters SV will lose some damage while MM and BM go up; and our PvP CC becomes stronger.|||Any good changes for shad priests? mind control set at 8 secs now, is that for pvp and pve? i never used mc. when is this patch ready for the uk, its 6.15am here, do i neeed to do anything other than launch the game??

thanks|||an interrupt off the GCD for all pally specs :D|||Quote:

Check the list yourself for Shadow Priest changes.

Mind Control is a big thing in PvP (take control of another player and jump down a cliff), and the 8 seconds is (as far as I know) only valid in PvP.

You need to launch the game and let the installer do its work. It's possible that you'll have problems; follow the link provided in the installer to figure out what to do.|||Quote:

Early word is that shadow priests are the new hotness. (People are already calling for nerfs.) They are doing a lot more damage now, both in PvE and PvP.|||Totally bombed in arena yesterday. Not sure if it was coincidence, but nearly every team had a priest or druid - both together was especially embarrassing.|||Quote:

I did see a lot more priests yesterday, about a 50/50 split between disc and shadow. Most of them were pretty bad, though. The team that gave us the most problem was a feral druid/rogue. (Which of course, we got to face twice.) Aside from the fact that double melee is really annoying for our team, they were smart players. (Most teams go for me first, since it's almost instinct to kill the healer. However, I'm much better geared than my DK partner, so he's actually the easier one to blow up. They were able to keep me CCed long enough to kill him.)

I actually saw a lot fewer druids than I had in the past. Priests, warriors, DKs, and rogues seemed to top our list. We saw a lot more mirrors (we run DK/disc priest.) I think that worked to our advantage, since we'd been playing the comp before, even when disc was in really sad shape for PvP, so we were able to outplay them pretty easily. It's still not that strong of a comp, since it's really lacking in CC, but that added mobility both classes now have does make it harder to lock us down.

However, part of your issue may simply be that you are at a higher rating and just starting to face smarter teams.
