Did i deserve the ban?

So my account got perm banned for "exploiting the economy" my mains dayandnight on lethon this happend about 2 months ago too.

im just bored and kind of want to start playing again. i THINK i got banned because of a neutrel ah transaction between me and a rl friend. this friend told me in whispers about being a goldseller he said he sold the recruit a friend mount to people + gold for game time because he was having trouble paying for wow.

but anyways here what happend one night he asked me to help him send some items from horde to alli using the booty bay ah. by some he meant 300 items mostly rare and epic low level boe and so i did help him because hes my friend.

he put in 299 of the items in the ah for 1 copper each i bought em and put them in his gb it took a few hours then the last item he put in was a grey put in for 13k i bought it and he paid me back on his alli rogue. i think this was what got me tipped off but i didnt know i could get banned by doing this i meen i was just helping! but now my 3 year old characters are gone forever

ugh ill never help anyone again! :X|||why not ask Blizzard what you did? They should be able to help you far more than anyone here.|||And if you knew you were doing these transactions with a gold seller... sorry to sound harsh, but you brought that upon yourself then.

"Yes, officer, I transported that dope for him, but he's my friend!" isn't going to work in real life either.|||I don't think you could have gotten banned for helping a friend in the way you described, but helping a goldseller is certainly bannable.
