Account Transfer?

Hello, I've been playing WoW on my dads account for about 2 years and i am 17, almost 18. Is there away to transfer one of my characters to a different account? I want to make my own account so my Dad can have his to himself and me to myself. If so can you provide me the steps to do it.(step by step please)|||Well, people are allowed to share an account with one minor child in the house, so technically you were not doing anything wrong and it should be possible to transfer the characters to a new account. But I am not sure. The rules state that both accounts should belong to the same person for a transfer to be possible.

I would suggest buying an account anyway and then try it and/or ask Blizzard about this. Worst case scenario is that you can start over on your account and keep your original character alive on your dad's.|||Or have the new account on his name still, that way both accounts would be in the same name.

Easiest route is probably to contact Blizzard's customer service and ask them what the optimal way would be.|||Quote:

well we both have the same last name so couldn't i just put my new battle.net account and just pay for the transfer? or do i have to merge the accounts or something?|||I'm honestly not sure if having the *last* name the same will suffice. You do have the same address, but without having ever tried I can't give any definite answers.|||Yeah, same. I think the full name has to match, not just the last name. I'd still contact Blizzard, as you were sharing the account legally anyway.
