How to get out of Outland?

One of my characters is stuck in Outland and I don't know how to get out. My hearthstone is set to Shattrath City. I used to take the portals from there back to Azeroth, but they disappeared recently. Any suggestions?

Thanks.|||You'll either have to ask a mage to port you out to one of your capitals (Suggest Org for the Horde and SW for Alliance), or find someone with a two seater rocket mount to fly you out (and back to the Dark Portal in Hellfire), or take the flight path back to The Dark Portal and then go back through it. From there you will need to travel to the nearest flight point (north for both Alliance and Horde) and then fly to wherever you're going.

You can even look for a kind Warlock to summon you and tip him/her.

Lastly, don't forget you set your new hearth and learn your Flight Master's Liscense, etc,.

All portals in utland (shat) and in Northrend (Dalaran, except for the one to Tanaris/CoT) were removed in CATA.

They never worked either. It was just "scenery" to show that Horde and Alliance soldiers were pouring into Outland to be fed to the demons. Maybe they work now, haven't checked there since Cata.|||Mine worked...used it to beat a hasty retreat a few times.

The portals at the Stair of Destiny (aka the Dark Portal) are supposed to work.
