[:1]I want the moonsight rifle schematic, which is a drop off of these crocodiles. Following http://www.wowhead.com/npc=1400/wetlands-crocolisk, I went to the densely populated region.
Humorously, someone commented that they are always ambushing him during quests and that they are annoying.
Well, I've run into gnolls, raptors, some dwarven trappers, those walking, nonhostile flowers, and everything under the sun, but not a single crocodile.
This furthers my suspicion that wow is coded to remove anything from the game that you are actually looking for.
Where do you run into these guys? Is the map wrong?|||They were removed when Cataclysm hit, the 2% drop data is from right before and from only 99 kills (when you see no level listed and that few of kills, the data is old/innacurate). Moonsight Rifle is a world drop schematic, but your best bet is Mekgineer Thermaplug from Gnomeregan as he drops quite a few schematics randomly (some only drop when an engineer is present, so the % is low on Wowhead).
Really though, those were some annoying crocs, back when I made the run through to IF on my night elves/draenei before Stormwind harbor was introduced.
